For me, heaven is being able to write stories – I like crafting stories that people remember, that they talk about the next day, stories that feature some of the beauty and generosity and exceptional spirit that is everywhere in our community – stories that are there, if only you take the time to look.
They may not be the lead story of the day. And perhaps they’re not the most important story of the day. But I believe they are stories that deserve a voice.
It doesn’t happen often, but every now and then, I have the chance to write some of those stories.
I just wanted some place to hold on to them…
